WHEN: THIS SATURDAY! July 11, 2015, 6-11 pm
WHERE: Ride leaves from right in front of Malmaison, 3401 Water St NW, Washington, DC 20007
SHOWTIME: 8 pm at Round House Theatre, 4545 East-West Hwy
AFTER: Socialize over gelato at Dolcezza & enjoy a night ride on the trail back into DC. (BRING LIGHTS!)
WHAT TO WEAR: Casual and cool. Retro to Modern! If you missed the Seersucker Social ride last month, here’s another chance to sport your vintage threads on 2 wheels.
“IMPOSSIBLE! is a theatrical circus collage set against a backdrop of hard times. It is an homage to classic circus characters and images from the 1930s and 40s. The ensemble portrays iconic scenes from the classic American circus: the trapeze, tight wire, human canon ball, the animals, the danger, the magic and the poetry, without any encumbrance of reality, using only costume changes, shadow play, poetic text, illusion, and a one-person multi-instrumental circus band.”-Happenstance Theater
This is one of my favorite shows from the Happenstance Theater crew, and it has rave reviews. Get your tickets online, and join us this Saturday at 6 pm right by Malmaison in Georgetown. We’ll then ride up the serene and shaded Capital Crescent Trail to Bethesda’s Round House Theatre. Check out the route.
After the show, We’ll stop by Dolcezza’s Bethesda location for some gelato, before heading back to the trail. Don’t forget your lights, as the ride back will be in the dark! Riding that trail at night in a group is an experience you don’t want to miss. If you’d rather not ride the trail at night, you can take the metro. The red line is just a few blocks from the theatre.
